Enrollment Criteria
To be eligible for admission to our course, applicants must fulfill the following requirements:
- 16 years of age or older
- Valid Government ID and Social Security Card
- TB Test
- Comply with Vaccination or Waiver Requirements
Course Overview
This is a 75-hour program with 59 hours in the classroom and 16 hours clinical education that is conducted over 4 weeks. This program is only comprised of this one course for completion. The course includes theory training, lab/ simulation and clinical/ hands on training. This course prepares students to provide basic nursing care to elderly residents in long term care facilities.
Graduates of this program will be able to communicate with patients effectively, recognize medical emergencies, provide hands on daily care needs while respecting and observing resident rights. Students will learn how to perform basic first aid, vital signs, observing/ reporting, and infection prevention measures.
Upon successful completion of this course graduates of this program will receive a certificate of completion and will be eligible to sit for the state exam to become a STNA.

Registration Steps
Enrolling in our program is a straightforward process. Here are the steps to secure your place:
Review the Program Details: Take the time to read through all the information on the program pages. It’s important to understand the course structure, requirements, and outcomes to ensure it aligns with your career goals.
Secure Your Spot: You can confirm your enrollment in the course by making a payment. This can either be the full tuition fee or a registration fee, both of which can be done via the ‘Payments’ section.
Complete the Registration Form: To help us better understand your background and interests, please fill out the registration form provided. This will also allow us to keep you updated on any course changes or updates.
Final Reminder: Please note, it’s crucial to complete all enrollment steps to guarantee your spot in the course. Without completing these steps, we will not be able to enroll you in your desired program.

PAYMENT PLAN (CNA Program)
An initial registration payment of $125 is required at the time of application. Subsequently, a sum of $350 should be remitted by the orientation date mentioned in the class email. The remaining balance of $350 is due by the first day of class. Please note, students will not be permitted to attend class until all fees are fully paid – there will be no exceptions, and refunds are not available.
3rd Party Vendors- NMTC does accept 3rd party payments, however the vendor must pay all fees in full in order for the student to receive their certification. If for any reason funds are not paid in full by vendor, financial responsibility is directed to the student.
In the event a student is unable to participate in the class they’ve registered for, the registration fee may be applied to future courses within a 30-day period. It is necessary to notify us one week before the start of the class by emailing contact.nurturingminds@gmail.com. Failing to do so will result in forfeiture of the registration fee, and the student will be required to pay the registration fee again for future classes.
